Monica Almond
Dr. Monica Almond’s mission in life is to help people let go of their past, discover their purpose and pursue their dreams. After a successful career in education and federal policy, Dr. Almond soon realized that she had much more to give aside from achieving the world’s measure of success.

Today Dr. Almond coaches, motivates, and inspires men and women around the world to live the life of their dreams as entrepreneurs. As the head visionary of Monica Almond Enterprises, Dr. Almond helps full-time mid-career professionals create a 12-month business strategy to walk away from their day jobs to pursue their dream jobs.

A native of Southern California who grew up a preacher’s kid, Dr. Almond earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism from Howard University (DC) and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in educational policy, evaluation, and reform from Claremont Graduate University (CA).

Dr. Almond worked in federal education policy during the Obama administration and led efforts to increase the amount of funding for innovative high school programs that serve historically underserved students. She successfully led a coalition of state and national high school reform organizations whose programs informed the development of a bill sponsored by both Democrats and Republicans in the United States Senate.

Dr. Almond is the CEO of ZION Publishing House, a family-owned publishing company based in Southern California and Washington, DC. Dr. Almond resides in the DC-Metropolitan area where she is an active member of her church.
