The Virginia Women’s Business Conference, taking place on December 2, 2016, is happy to announce the return of the Business Makeover Mentoring Program. The committee is searching for one small business owner who has the intentions of taking his/her business to the next level. In matching with the motto of the Virginia Women’s Business Conference “Vision, Passion, Power”: the applicant must have a clear vision of where they want their business to be in the near future, the passion to reach their established goals in business, and the power to work through the natural hardships and roadblocks that a majority of small business owners face.
The winner of the 2016 Business Makeover Mentoring Program will be the focus of a special mentoring program overseen by the Virginia Women’s Business Conference Advisory Council. The award (valued at over $15,000.00) will include a mentoring program that consists of
- Quarterly—1 two hour interactive, mentoring sessions, hosted by The Virginia Women’s Business Conference including access to and focused guidance from a dedicated panel of the finest experts, small business owners and CEOs in Virginia. Specializing in the following areas as applicable to your business’ needs and level of growth: Business Strategy, Finance, Marketing, Sales, and Operational Management. The winner will select categories in conjunction with the Mentors to help focus on the areas where his/her business needs the most improvement.
- Monthly—1 on 1 telephone consulting by an individual mentor to ensure progress and allow for touch points throughout the year.
- Connections and introductions from industry experts that open doors and opportunities for the business owner to build relationships AND their business.
- Gift basket including books, gift certificates and MORE!
The Business Makeover Mentors are the committee of experienced business owners and industry experts focused on helping YOU grow your business over the next year! Operations, financial, marketing and the “A through Z” of running successful businesses. These mentors have been there and are anxious to help you thrive within your own industry.”
